We love 70 degree days

Although our little girl is running a fever, she won't stay seated or inside.  She just stands at the door saying "Out SIIIDE"  So she walks around on the deck and goes up and down the steps and refuses to come inside.  So here are some pictures of our sick little girl.

She loves to play with sticks.

On St Patties day.  I love those long eye lashes

Playing on the steps

Playing with her new stroller while we forced her to stay inside.

Let's Play

Well so far March has proved to be a good month for warm weather, and it looks like more is on the way.  We have spent may days outside playing and Maryssa can't get enough.  She stands at the sliding glass doors and says "Outside" over and over again.  She is also such a chatterbox now.  If I can get the videos to upload I will put them up because it is so funny.  Poor Eric gets two talkers in the house now.

Along with playing outside, Maryssa loves to dance.  She stops in the middle of stores when she hears the music playing to give us a little dance.  It's so funny to watch her.  She makes us laugh so much now as she discovers new things and is saying new words everyday.

15 months

Well it's finally getting warmer out!  Maryssa is having a blast playing outside.  She loves going for walks aroudn the neighborhood and going to to the neighborhood playground.  The slide is her favorite.  She's just learning to get in the slide on her own, and squeals the whole way down.

Maryssa is so animated now.  She loves hiii, bye (both in a southern accent), lots of animal noises, dog, belly button, shshoooes, Nana, water, more, mama, dada and SSSS for Sam.  She also loves dancing.  We were in Lowes the other day and she stopped in the middle of the store and started dancing to the music.  She also attempts to snap her fingers.  It's so cute.  She's learning new words very quickly and tries to repeat anything you say.  Books are at the top of her list of toys these days.  We read most of the day and she loves to sit in her little chair and read books outloud to herself.  Something I have to catch on video when she's not looking for me.

Snow Snow Snow

We spent most of the new year playing in the snow.  We live in a great neighborhood for sledding.  At first Maryssa was unsure of the snow since she didn't remember the 20 inches we got last year, but it didn't take long for her to warm up to it.  We spent many afternoons sledding in the backyard and stomping around in the snow.  She loved feeling the crunch under her feet.

To combat the cold we also spent plenty of mornings cuddling in bed.  Maryssa is such a cuddle bug, so we can sneak a few extra minutes of sleep in if she hangs out with us.
